I was asked to create a responsive e-commerce website design for a brand new local glamping business. Village Farm Getaway has two luxury glamping safari tents on a rural farm setting. The website design needed to showcase all the camping and farm facilities, as well as provide a simple booking process.
I designed their logo, using ideas which they gave me. I chose a warm summery sage green and dusty purple combination to create a full logo and icon version for social media usage.
The website design incorporates the same colours and I added some wood grain texturing for added richness and warmth. CSS shadows make the text panels pop, and I chose a script font for the panel headings that compliments the logo. I used WordPress and Zurb Foundation to create a responsive website allowing booking via mobile devices as well as desktop. Stripe securely handles all the card payments.
Visual Composer allows the client to easily edit pages themselves. The client is delighted with the website design, and bookings were way above their expectations within the first 6 months of business.
If you’re interested in creating a bespoke e-commerce website, I’d love to talk to you.
