UCH Education Centre fly-though

The University College Hospital (UCH) built an Education Centre in 2008 with teaching rooms, simulated hospital settings, and a narrative centre. I was given these detailed 2D architectural plans as PDFs, including different seating and partition options for some areas.

Using Sketchup I extruded these plans, and added textures based on reference images taken on-site.

I then placed all the furniture and people in the model and created the animated fly through in Sketchup. I used Premiere Pro to edit the sequence and add labels. Here are some still images from the final animation.
